PHRYGIA, Temenothyrae. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Mid 3rd century AD. Æ (30mm, 14.74 g, 6h). Nicomachus, archiereus and primary archon for the second time. KTI CTHC, bare head of Temenus right, wearing beard / Dioscuri standing facing, each holding spear, heads vis-à-vis. Von Aulock, Phrygiens -; SNG München -; cf. SNG von Aulock -; Winterthur 4234. Good VF, dark green patina with traces of earthen highlights. Extremely rare.
